Minimum Academic Requirement for Membership:
A recognized Master degree or above in Computer, Information Technology, Medical Informatics or Health Informatics; OR
Master of Science degree in Medical Imaging and Radiation Science (MIRS) from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University registered in or after September 2009 with no less than 40% of the modules taken associated in Medical Imaging Informatics; OR
A recognized Master degree in Medical Imaging, Health Care or related fields, plus attained a grade of 75% or above in an examination set by the MII Faculty Committee of HKCRRT.

Clinical Requirements (member):
Cases or duration requirements:- Having had 5 years of post-registration working experience in radiography, medical imaging or radiotherapy and 2 Years working experience of Medical Imaging Informatics Administration
Competency requirements:- The applicant should produce the supporting document(s) of his/her working experience e.g. full resume of working experience, recommendation from his/her superiors.

Clinical Requirements (fellow):
Cases or duration requirements:- Fulfill the general requirements of membership and fellowship and 5 Years working experience of Medical Imaging Informatics Administration
Competency requirements:- The applicants should produce the supporting document(s) of his/her working experience e.g. full resume of working experience, recommendation from his/her superior.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD):
To remain current the member and fellowship accredited, the Imaging Informatics practitioner must accrue at least 45 CPD credits in 3 years, of which 15 credits are relevant to Imaging Informatics.
