Minimum Academic Requirement for Membership:
A recognized Master degree or above in Interventional Radiology; OR
A recognized Bachelor degree in medical imaging or related fields or Professional Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography (PDDR) of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University or equivalent, plus an Interventional Radiology specialist qualification recognized by the College; OR
A recognized Bachelor degree in medical imaging or related fields or Professional Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography (PDDR) of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University or equivalent, plus attained a grade of 75% or above in an examination set by the IR Faculty Committee of HKCRRT.

Clinical Requirements:
NOT less the 200 cases of Interventional procedures within a 2-year period, which

-          At least 50 cases are vascular IR, AND

-          At least 50 cases are non-vascular IR

Admission as First Batch Member under special accreditation pathway (Valid until 31 Dec 2026):

For radiographers presented clinical experience in IR but no academic qualifications

-          Not less than 15 years clinical practice in the specialty of Interventional Radiology, AND

-          Not less than 5 years clinical practice in the specialty of Interventional Radiology at a role of specialty in-charge
